About me

I am a Devon-based artist whose practice spans cityscapes, seascapes, and portraiture, often inspired by rain-soaked streets, soft reflections, and shifting light. Through painting I explore the atmosphere of a place and the presence of people within it, aiming to capture not only what is seen, but also what is felt.

I grew up in the South West of England and went on to study engineering and graduate from the University of Nottingham. Over time, my focus shifted from engineering to painting, as I discovered the ability merge precision with expression. My background in engineering continues to shape how I see form, space and light, while my artistic practice allows me to explore identity, atmosphere, and memory in ways that feel deeply personal.

In 2024, I was honoured to exhibit at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, a milestone that has strengthened my commitment to developing new collections and sharing my work with a wider audience.

I continue to live and work in Devon, where the coastline and ever-changing weather provide constant inspiration. This website is the exclusive home for my original artworks and limited prints.
